Dan Connolly has very nicely summarized the situation, and eased the sting of being flamed by the director of the W3C, if only by implication, as one of the great clueless XML crowd. However, I'd like to withdraw the harsh tone of my reply to the flame, my point that disagreement is not the same as lack of understanding was made very nicely by several other people. It's good to know that the actual history is relatively well understood within the W3C staff. -- David -- _________________________________________ David Durand dgd@cs.bu.edu \ david@dynamicDiagrams.com http://cs-people.bu.edu//dgd/ \ Chief Technical Officer Graduate Student no more! \ Dynamic Diagrams --------------------------------------------\ http://www.dynamicDiagrams.com/ \__________________________
