While an http: URI suggests something that might be worth _trying_, common experience with http: URIs might lead us to the conclusion that they're awfully fragile creatures, whatever the original intent of the person who created the URI. I don't think this a stable foundation, to say the least, and can't recommend building on it. Now if only I were a building inspector...
