A single namespace may be referenced in multiple schemas, and a single schema may reference multiple namespaces. If someone happens to know that for their particular set of documents there's a 1:1 relationship, fine... but that's application logic, not standards behavior. At least the Schema spec does point out that this is just one possible approach among many, and explicitly suggests one alternative. I'd rather see the direct retrieval dropped from that description, but since it's essentially illustrative (non-normative?)
