Namespaces only have names. A namespace that has name which is the
URI of a mailbox is _not_ a mailbox, it is not even necessarily
related to a mailbox in any way at all. That is not how namespaces
work.

Call me perverse if you will, but I put more faith in published
standards/recommendations than in some slides presented at a meeting
to which I wasn't invited.
