Re: comment on XML 1.0 5th edition

The XML Core WG has responded recently [1] [2] to the two comments you
endorsed.

As regards other specs. which reference XML 1.0, either they
referenced a dated version, in which case a new edition will not
affect them, or they referenced the undated version, in which case
they commited themselves to track changes made, and as discussed in
[2], such changes _may_ involve changes to conformance.
