XML Query WG comments on XML 1.0 Fifth Edition PR

Gentlepeople,

The W3C XML Query Working Group directed me to submit the following
comment on the Proposed Recommendation of XML 1.0, Fifth Edition:

<comment>
The XML Query Working Group believes that XML 1.0 Fifth Edition is an
important step forward for XML, since XML 1.0 does not fully support
the current Unicode Standard, and XML 1.1 is not being widely
adopted. We believe it is important for XML and Unicode, which form
the basis for a great deal of data and document interchange, to remain in sync.
</comment>

Hope this helps,
    Jim

P.S., XML Query WG, please note that this completes ACTION A-362-03.
