Dear Sirs, ERRATA (possible): ------------------------ location: Extensible Markup Language (XML) 1.0 (Third Edition) W3C Recommendation 04 February 2004 Section 4 Physical Structures (Definition of unparsed entity: 3d sentence of definition) AND THE SAME Extensible Markup Language (XML) 1.1 W3C Recommendation 04 February 2004, edited in place 15 April 2004 Section 4 Physical Structures (Definition of unparsed entity: 3d sentence of definition) ------------------------- Sentence: Beyond a requirement that an XML processor make the identifiers for the entity and notation available to the application, XML places no constraints on the contents of unparsed entities. Planned structure of this sentense: Beyond (some constraint on Content), XML places no (another constraints on Contents). But: 1. "...identifiers for the entity and notation..." DO NOT constitute part of or whole content of unparsed entity; identifiers ARE external objects relatively content of unparsed entity. 2. so, "...a requirement that an XML processor make the identifiers for the entity and notation available to the application..." IS NOT constraint on the contents of unparsed entities. 3. so, whole sentence is semantically incorrect. Best Regards, Valeri Remeev val_remeev@hotpop.com
