Re: Public review of XML 1.0 Second Edition

Under "Status of This Document" you assert:

As described in this text, you appear to be explicitly including the WebSGML
modifications.  However, the "for compatibility" parts often are not necessary
for compatability with SGML unless the WebSGML modifications are not included
in the SGML with which one is trying to be compatible.  Some explanation
is needed.
