John pointed out that I simply misread the XML standard on the subject
of CDATA sections.  Please ignore the following comment:

Maybe one should show how to include "]]>" with the double CDATA
section trick:

	<[CDATA[This is text]]>]]><[CDATA[following a CDATA end.]]>
