Dave: thanks for doing this. Mostly it looks good. A few small issues.
-------
I noticed one typo, which may in fact trace to a copy paste from something
I wrote:
"The XML Protocols Workgroup solicits feedback on the question of whether
this MEP should indeed provide support for transmission to more than one
receiver, as described in this draft, or whether it should speak only of a
single sender, a single receive, and a single message."
That should be "a single receiver".
-----
I also noticed one other detail that probably survives from a long time
ago, but which I'd like to see discussed after FWD is out:
"A receiver MAY fault in a binding-specific manner if some particular
message is declared in error "
I'm not sure the use of the word "declared" is right, as it suggests that
someone needs to craft some sort of error declaration. Perhaps:
"A receiver MAY fault in a binding-specific manner if some particular
message is found to be in error "
-----
Another one to discuss after the FWD:
"Such failures might be silent at either or all of the sending and
recieving SOAP nodes involved, or might result in the generation of a SOAP
or binding-specific fault (see 2.4 Fault Handling)."
Should that be:
"Such failures MAY be silent at either or all of the sending and recieving
SOAP nodes involved, or MAY result in the generation of a SOAP or
binding-specific fault (see 2.4 Fault Handling)."
I thought we avoided informal conformance rules expressed with constructs
like lowercase "might".
-----
I think the typo is worth fixing ASAP. The others can be discussed later
if anyone thinks it's worth the trouble. Thanks.
Noah
