Repost to xml-dist-app... TBTFers, Stuart and I took an action during the last TBTF to summarize the changes required to allow streaming of requests and responses in the request response MEP and HTTP binding. Stuart proposed detailed changes to the state transition diagram and tables. An updated version of the changed sections is at [1]. Noah proposed additional wording[2] for part 1 and part 2 to clarify the relationship between streaming implementations of the request/response message exchange pattern and our core chapter 2 SOAP processing model. An additional paragraph in section 7.4 would reiterate that "requesting nodes MUST avoid deadlock by accepting and if necessary processing response information while the request is being transmitted".
