Noah, An encoded and marked XML document in a SOAP message seems like a reasonable thing to have, but I would have to ask what you think the advantages of having this feature given that SOAP with Attachments can solve the same problem? I would be more inclined to take the existing 'common usage' of SwA into the current specification rather than describing a brand new approach that will possibly need new processing rules... cheers --oh
