XMLP future reference implementation(s)?

hi,

i am not sure if this issue was already raised or addressed but i could not find
anything about it on http://www.w3.org/2000/xp/ (or in
http://www.w3.org/2000/xp/Activity.html).

looking on current state of SOAP 1.1 interoperability i think that providing a
publicly available reference implementation (providing multiple implementations on
different platforms would be even better..) of XMLP with all required functionality
implemented would allow to perform interoperability testing and to promote
acceptance of the new standard. i think that it is especially important when
considering modular architecture of XMLP - proof of concept implementation of the
modular architecture would make sure that nothing in specification would be
ambiguous or hard to interpret (or to implement).

this is just my 0.02 c

thanks,

alek
