In drafting the XML Protocol Requirements Document, the XML Protocol Working Group has decided to include use cases to help us define our requirements and see if we meet them. We are soliciting use cases and opening up discussion of them on the xml-dist-app mailing list. These use cases will be examined to see if they fall within the scope of our charter[1] and will be included in the Requirements Document and possibly other documents in the future. Real world examples using SOAP or other XML protocols would be greatly appreciated. Please familiarize yourself with the XP Charter and submit your use cases to this list. In order to ensure your submissions do not get overlooked, please add [USECASE] at the beginning of the subject line. You can find an example use case from the XML Query Requirements Document at [2].
