Thought - Can we assume that every XP service has an identifiable URI? If so, perhaps we should consider requiring this? If that is true, it would also be good to require the envelope to identify the URI, as the transport binding can't be expected/trusted to preserve it in all cases. (e.g., transport binding doesn't preserve hostname, like HTTP/1.0, or binding allows transport intermediaries to change the URI, like HTTP/1.1) -- Mark Nottingham, Research Scientist Akamai Technologies (San Mateo, CA)
