Visit www.socceronline.com to join the chat! Bio of Jay Miller: Jay currently serves as a National Staff Coach for the United States Soccer Federation. A national instructional staff coach since 1979, Miller has coached virtually at every national team level. His most recent assignments have been as an opponent scout for the US World Cup Team during the 1998 World Cup in France, and as the Head Coach for the US U-17 Boy’s National Team at the 1997 U-17 World Championship in Egypt. As a national staff coach, he has also coached the U.S. World University Games Team (1985-1987) and the U.S. Youth National Team (1980,’ 81, ’86). He served as the chairman of the national coaching committee from 1991-1993.
