I mailed Barbara about this, but then recalled that potentially Duration was to be included elsewhere, so I guess it'd be useful to bring it up for the general attention of the ZIG. Regarding the Duration access point, it seems that this is covered in DC's Format, and hence in the cross domain attribute set's access point of the same name. Should it be a semantic qualifier for XD's Format? The description of Dublin Core's "Format" is: The physical or digital manifestation of the resource. Which doesn't sound a lot like duration, but the comment includes: Typically, Format may include the media-type or dimensions of the resource ... Examples of dimensions include size and duration. This seems to me to be the correct place for Duration, rather than a separate access point. Rob -- ,'/:. Rob Sanderson (azaroth@liverpool.ac.uk) ,'-/::::. http://www.o-r-g.org/~azaroth/ ,'--/::(@)::.
