This is an incredibly strong claim - and even if true have to create an environment that supports the more complex case. But if you are going to make a claim like the above why not go all the way and say "in most cases" servers have one database: of books, using MARC21 to deliver, with BIB1 as the search attributes. Or maybe soon can say one database following the Bath profile. And I think that this might well be true! So why do explain if basing the implementation on such environments? bob
