If the committee is interested in such a work, I can consider doing it. I guess I have to ask the other contributor to the xslfoproc project before, and then I can give you my answer. If there is no interest in such a new direction, no need to start anything. So the question is : is there an interest in my proposing a draft ? Does the committee agree that the orientations I'm proposing make sense, before I start such a work? A valid answer is of course : "We have already thought about those problems, but we considered that compatibility with X or Y, or this or that other technical reason prevent from doing the way you are proposing. So thanks for your offer, but we are not interested." Another valid answer is "We are interested in you developping that or that point, but the other ones seem erroneous to us. Could you limit your proposals to the points we are interested in?" Finally you can also say "Yeah, great! We always thought it was a weakness. Thanks for submitting a draft, we'll consider it with the greatest attention." You choose ;-). -- - Do you know the four basic nutrition groups? - Errr... Hamburger, soda, French fries and dessert?
