Hmm it wouldn't be too hard to support mathml, if it can cope with some er, entertaining tex re-definitions they could just stuff in xmltex.tex and have the tex engine read mathml directly (on a good day), it doesn't currently produce the best quality output though (even using tex) I should fix that one day...)
