It happens this was answered recently on another list: http://www.biglist.com/lists/xsl-list/archives/200211/msg01242.html During your generation of your XSL-FO (perhaps you are using XSLT?) you just choose not to add the footnote at that time ... just add the footnote citation and skip over the processing of the footnote body. At the end of the chapter, revisit the chapter content obtaining only the footnotes and this time render them all at once, repeating the citations. I hope this helps. .......................
