NIST test case 49 is intended to test unexpanded entity reference informaiton items in the included infoset. However, I'm not sure there's anything in the document that would cause such items to be present in the result infoset. The result of inlcusion only matches if the processor fails to expand entity references, but it's not clear to me why it should fail to expand entity references. I certainly don't think there's anything wrong about expanding entity references in this test case. I would suggest removing this test from the suite, or at a minimum adding some markup to testdesc.xml indicating that this test only succeeds when entity resolution is not performed. But I really would prefer the test to be eliminated completely. -- Elliotte Rusty Harold
