http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=6227 Summary: Type Derivation OK (simple) Product: XML Schema Version: 1.1 only Platform: PC OS/Version: Windows NT Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: Structures: XSD Part 1 AssignedTo: cmsmcq@w3.org ReportedBy: mike@saxonica.com QAContact: www-xml-schema-comments@w3.org In 1.0, Type Derivation OK (simple) rule 2.2.2 reads: 2.2.2 D's ·base type definition· is not the ·ur-type definition· and is validly derived from B given the subset, as defined by this constraint. In 1.1, the corresponding rule reads: 2.2.2 D.{base type definition} is not ·xs:anySimpleType· and is validly derived from B given S, as defined by this constraint. I think "ur-type definition" has been changed to "xs:anySimpleType" when it should have been changed to "xs:anyType". Derived from a message today from Tobias Koenig on the xml-schema-testsuite list. -- Configure bugmail: http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the QA contact for the bug.
