It is true that the value of the [validity] property and the results people are interested in are not the same, but it's not clear to some in the WG that that distinction is captured by the distinction between the terms 'validation' and 'assessment'. Can you expound a bit more on the distinction you believe the spec should be making? [This comment made speaking only for myself, not for the WG.]
