http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=2867 Summary: RQ-9 Expand wildcard namespace constraints (wildcard-ns- sets) Product: XML Schema Version: 1.1 only Platform: Other OS/Version: All Status: NEW Keywords: needsAgreement Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: Structures: XSD Part 1 AssignedTo: ht@w3.org ReportedBy: cmsmcq@w3.org QAContact: www-xml-schema-comments@w3.org This issue was originally reported by James Clark. The namespace constraints on wildcards must be more expressive in order to be able to express the union or intersection of any two wildcards. Specifically, it must be possible to express "any namespace except those in the following list." See http://www.w3.org/2000/12/xmlschema-crcomments.html#wildcard-minus: CR-20.
