http://www.w3.org/Bugs/Public/show_bug.cgi?id=2139 Summary: R-148: Trailing decimal point in seconds field of dateTime and time Product: XML Schema Version: 1.0 Platform: All OS/Version: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P2 Component: XSD Part 2: Datatypes AssignedTo: cmsmcq@w3.org ReportedBy: sandygao@ca.ibm.com QAContact: www-xml-schema-comments@w3.org Is a trailing decimal point allowed in the seconds field of dateTime and time? For example, is "12:45:00." allowed? 3.2.7.1 says "any number of digits after the decimal point is supported", but I believe ISO 8601:2000 requires that any fractional part have at least one digit.
