Regarding the draft at http://www.w3.org/TR/2004/PER-xmlschema-1-20040318/: Section 4.2.1 says: ... (of type application/xml or text/xml with an XML declaration for preference, but this is not required) It is not clear whether the "this" refers to just the XML declaration or to both the type and the XML declaration. Additionally, the wording "for preference" doesn't seem to be right. (I don't recognize the construction.) Does the specification mean to say: ... (of type application/xml or text/xml, preferably with an XML declaration, although the XML declaration is not required) Daniel
