Dear XML Schema editor,
Comment:
A paragraph In Clause 4.1 of Part 0 states:
Instance documents that conform to schema whose definitions span
multiple schema documents need only reference the 'topmost'
document, and the common namespace, and it is the
responsibility of the processor to gather together all the definitions
specified in the various included documents. In our example above, the
instance document ipo.xml (see Section 4.3) references only the
common target namespace, http://www.example.com/IPO, and the one
schema file http://www.example.com/schemas/ipo.xsd. The processor is
responsible for obtaining the schema file address.xsd.
However, ipo.xml in Section 4.3 does not make reference to the schema file
http://www.example.com/schemas/ipo.xsd.
Proposed solution:
Add the schema reference to ipo.xml in Section 4.3.
Sincerely,
Mike McCaleb
