I believe I've discovered a typing error in your XML Schema Primer,
available at http://www.w3.org/TR/xmlschema-0/:
At the end of §5.4 you give the following "example of an element appearing
in an instance and having thist type:"
<convertFrom name="AFA"/>199.37</convertFrom>
Isn't the first slash out of place? I believe this example should be:
<convertFrom name="AFA">199.37</convertFrom>
