Just a starter comment - was it really necessary to bludgeon readers with an Infoset-based "LinkSet" terminology defined using W3C XML Schema? Reading through this, I'm not finding much good reason (beyond type="xsd:uriReference") for using either W3C XML Schema or the "information item" vocabulary of the Infoset. On foundations, this looks good. Defining an underlying model is a good place to start. On presentation, it seems remarkably and unnecessarily obfuscated. The content of the document does not justify its difficulty level.
