Hello, I have compiled a small list of questions I came up with last week. Maybe they will be of some interest to you.. * How are out-of-line links made known to the browser? Do you think of an extension of HTTP or some general scheme? * Do you have plans for supporting "link author sites", e.g. for commenting on other people's web pages? (wouldn't it be interesting to see Gore's comments on Bush's web site and vice versa?) * What mechanism do you think can be employed to distribute links from site to site? * Did you think of a mechanism to collect "back links" and update them if a resource changes? (again, will HTTP be changed for this?) * If so, did you think about a trust scheme to filter "bad sites" out? * Will links be held in a database form per server, thus making it easier to modify the general link structure on the server? * How much importance has the separation of content and structure, information and syntax, with external linkbases for you? @hartmut ------------------------------------------------------------------ Hartmut Obendorf mailto:hartmut@obendorf.de Graduate Student http://www.obendorf.de Distributed Systems Group University of Hamburg
