Hi Tommy, Shivaram and I made the change to 2.5.3.3[1] to say: <quote> If the initial request included the optional <PendingNotification> element, the XKMS service notifies the client about the completion of the request processing using the notification mechanism specified in this element. </quote> Do you think it is precise enough or should I add the out of band notification mechanism indication, which you hinted here below? I think it's good as it is. If there's no notification message precised, the client has either to go poll the server to know if the request has been completed or use an out-of-band mechanism as you explained.
