CALL FOR PARTICIPATION - Semantic Scripting Challenge
-------------------------------------------------------
In conjunction with this years ESWC Workshop on Scripting for the
Semantic Web a Scripting Challenge will be performed. We would like to
invite authors of script applications to submit a short description and
possibly present their application at SFSW06 in Budva, Montenegro.
The application must be implemented using a scripting language and
Semantic Web technologies. It should access, visualize or combine
information from different sources in new unforeseen ways. In that the
challenge is an ideal way to showcase how the Semantic Web idea can be
combined with AJAX, Folksonomy and Web 2.0 approaches.
The winner as well as submissions to be presented at the workshop and
included in the workshop proceedings will be selected by members of the
Program Committee of the SFSW workshop.
Authors of Scripting Challenge submissions are not required to attend
the workshop personally.
PRIZE
As a price an Apple iPod Nano (or alternatively € 200 cash) will be
awarded to the most innovative scripting application. This price is
kindly sponsored by @semantics.

March 30, 2006
Announcement of the winner and presentation of selected submissions:
