WS-I Basic Profile 1.0 Draft (24 Jan 2003) now available

    WS-I.org has made a working group draft of the Web Services Basic 
Profile 1.0, dated 24 Jan 2003 publicly available. I encourage you to send 
comments to the email alias as described in the document. Please note the 
time frame as described in the Document Status I pasted in below.

Status:

This document is a Working Group Draft; it has been accepted by the Working 
Group as reflecting the current state of discussions. It is a work in 
progress, and should not be considered authoritative or final; other 
documents may supercede this document.

The Working Group believes this Working Group Draft to be substantively 
complete with regards to the technical refinements, clarifications and 
constraints specified. The Working Group will be publishing another Working 
Group Draft reflecting the remaining issue resolutions, additional 
rationale text, and editorial changes within the next month, and intends to 
pursue an aggressive schedule for completion of its work. Therefore, the 
Working Group invites all parties interested in contributing to the review 
and feedback process of the Basic Profile v1.0 to do so based on this 
version so that any technical concerns expressed can be considered by the 
Working Group before it concludes its formal review period
