Per volunteering at http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Member/w3c-ws-desc/2002Apr/0043.html (members only), here are draft dispositions for the few requirements in section 4.12 and 5. 5 Requirements from other W3C WGs R024 [Draft, Must, Charter] The WG will also take into account the encoding work going on in the XML Protocol Working Group. R002 [Draft, Must, JS] Coordinate with W3C XML Activity and XML Coordination Group. Proposal: Reject both "requirements". This is not a requirement on the specifications we produce, it is a requirement on the behavior of the Working Group. These requirements are in the charter, which is the right place for behavioral requirements. When real technical requirements actually arrive from the XML Protocol Working Group or the XML CG, then they should appear in section 5. 4.12 Mapping to the Semantic Web R070 [Draft, Must, Charter] The WG will provide a mapping to RDF so that the information described can be easily merged with that of other applications. This mapping will be developed with the help of the RDF Interest Group. Proposal: Modify this requirement to "It must be possible to provide a mapping from the WS Description language to RDF." The remainder of the requirement should be rejected for the same reasons as R002 and R024.
