Roger, I've modified it to include reporting (as a broader term) to cover tracking. As you pointed out in the EDI text, I agree with you that the EDI-like tracking facilities are more in the choreography and transaction domains and therefore not at the same architectural level as that of tracking (or reporting) of basic service messages with which the Management model is concerned. You will note that this verbiage explicitly mentions the possibility of providing these capabilities in analogy with, or as part of, management services. <http://dev.w3.org/cvsweb/%7Echeckout%7E/2002/ws/arch/wsa/wd-wsa-arch-re view2.html> http://dev.w3.org/cvsweb/%7Echeckout%7E/2002/ws/arch/wsa/wd-wsa-arch-rev iew2.html#edi -----Original Message----- From: w3c-ws-arch-request@w3.org [mailto:w3c-ws-arch-request@w3.org] On Behalf Of Husband, Yin-Leng Sent: Thursday, December 18, 2003 1:56 AM To: w3c-ws-arch@w3.org Subject: Section 3.7 Web service management This is the new section "3.7 Web service management" for the Arch document. It is a complete re-write that is consistent with the concepts in Section 2.3.5. Please review. Yin Leng
