Hi WS-Description members, I have taken a stab at merging the WS Arch usage scenarios with the WSD scenarios [1] dated Apr 23. The announcement message with the URL for the wsarch usage scenarios doc will come out shortly. This merge is my suggestion only. Please let me know what scenarios or text I have missed or done incorrectly, or any other changes that would help you. I did renumber the XMLP usage scenarios. I kept the xmlp specific information in the document, because it seemed like taking out the description section would cutting too much. I created ws-arch sections in the scenarios, so that the ws-arch group can put it's requirements, priorities in for now. We plan on developing requirements inline with the scenarios for the short-term, then pull them out later. I have suggested to the wsarch editors that in addition to our scenarios, we should jointly develop a mechanism for including WSD specific extensions to the wsarch scenarios into a unified document. So WSD owns it's portion of the scenarios, and these can be included. This unified document would be an "inclusion" of any and all web services wg extensions. It would be clearly identified as a unified document, and not for review. The reviewable documents would be the "bare-bones" document. I have not extensively cleaned up any duplication that may have crept in. Based upon my best guesses, here's the way I mapped the scenarios: WSDL Scenario-> WS-Arch Scenario 0001,2,15,25-> Already existed in wsarch document 0006 Deleted 0028-> new scenario, S071 0030-> new scenario, S201 0003-> new scenario, S006 0004-> new scenario, S501 0005-> new scenario, S502 0029-> new scenario, S503 0031-> S504 0032-> S505 0027-> S507 0026->Created into 1 new scenario, S500 (metadata). I left the query part out 34A-> new scenario, S600 34B-> new scenario, S092 Cheers, Dave [1] http://www.w3.org/2002/ws/desc/2/03/UC/ws-desc-usecases.html
