Status of D-AG0020: Privacy

The draft reads:

   DG0020
To develop a standard reference architecture for web services
that enables privacy protection of the consumer of a Web
service across multiple domains and services.

with the caveat that it should be an AG (see [1] for discussion).

The CSFs are (proposed at [2] and discussed at [3]):

  - Is it possible for a service consumer to know the privacy policies
of the service provider(s) that it is going to deal with?
    (a.k.a. hooks for P3P)

  - Private data provision during a Web service transaction should not
exceed the consumer's consent, where the consumer must be provided
    with reasonable means for opt-out.

Regards,

Hugo
