Greetings

Hi everyone,

My name is Mehrdad Omidvari and I will be representing Network Inference
in this working group. I'm perhaps a little late, but I have been
following some of the discussions on OWL, since about a year ago when I
joined Network Inference. My academic background is in Mathematics and
Theoretical Computer Science. After finishing a post-graduate course at
Cambridge University (mainly in Mathematical Logic), I did some more
research work at the University of Leeds in Logic (Definability in
Bounded Set Theory). For the last 12 years I have been working in
software design and development at various places including P&O,
Barclays Capital, and OM Technology where I was a project leader. As a
member of this working group, I will be more interested in following and
contributing to the discussions on datatype properties and the
connections between OWL ontologies and relational databases.
