WOWG members: As part of getting an extension of our WG, each of you who wishes to continue as a member needs to get your Advisory Council member to submit a new membership form for you (principals and alternates both) -- the reason is that although we chartered the group as a royalty free group, there is a new Interim Patent Policy that we need to sign on to (which says almost the same thing - but is more formal). As a result, your AC member must read [1] and then submit the form renominating you. (Note the AC email is member only, thus I cannot just forward the form to this list) Note that the same email [1] also is the form for voting for or against the WG extension -- If your AC member wishes to, he/she can vote for the extension and re-enroll you at the same time. Finally, the form [1] also has a part at the bottom for projected use/implementation of OWL. If your organization has plans to be involved in implementing OWL products (or building/using OWL ontologies) it is worth pointing this out to your AC member and asking them to include that. We will continue to meet through the time of the extension "vote", so we won't be changing the mailing list or web page until after that (if anyone drops off). -Jim H p.s. Invited experts, I'll be sending you a separate message about your status - so don't worry about the above.
