WOWGers - One of my responsibilities as a WG cochair was to present a status overview of our group at the W3C track on the semantic web at the WWW 2002 conference. Interest in the Sem Web at this meeting has been amazing (more on that later) and over 250 people came to this session (standing room only, overflow crowd). The talk is now on the web at [1], and it would be nice if everyone would give it a look see -- sorry I could not get it circulated among you folks for comments, but it was still evolving up to a few minutes before it went live... Please look at the last couple of slides -- especially the slide on issues (slide 13 of 14) - which I have received much feedback on, and will be a topic of discussion somewhere in the next couple of telecons -JH [1] http://www.w3.org/2002/Talks/www2002-ont-jh/ -- Professor James Hendler hendler@cs.umd.edu Director, Semantic Web and Agent Technologies 301-405-2696 Maryland Information and Network Dynamics Lab. 301-405-6707 (Fax) AV Williams Building, Univ of Maryland College Park, MD 20742 http://www.cs.umd.edu/users/hendler
