It turns out that some of the problems Jeremy has identified with non-OWL/DL graphs are not actually problems because they could be generated in other ways. In particular SubClassOf(x y) could have been used to generate smaller sets of triples than were produced by Class(x partial y) I'm not, however, proposing to go back to the old translation. peter
