It may matter in some cases if compatibility is broken with prior versions of the draft, since we know implementations exist (e.g. Xythos WFS). However: - it doesn't matter in this case because the server could easily accept both iscollection and is-collection for backward compatibility, and - it's just an internet-draft, so changes, particularly important ones, can be made with less worry about backward compatibility. lisa > -----Original Message----- > From: www-webdav-dasl-request@w3.org > [mailto:www-webdav-dasl-request@w3.org]On Behalf Of Julian Reschke > Sent: Friday, March 22, 2002 12:25 AM > To: Wallmer, Martin; www-webdav-dasl@w3.org > Subject: RE: is-collection - isdefined > > > Yes. > > "iscollection" existed before and had different semantics. > Actually, I'd > prefer to move everything to hypen-based syntax, but that would break > "compatibility" to older versions of the draft (does it > really matter? just > asking.). > > > -----Original Message----- > > From: www-webdav-dasl-request@w3.org > > [mailto:www-webdav-dasl-request@w3.org]On Behalf Of Wallmer, Martin > > Sent: Friday, March 22, 2002 9:13 AM > > To: 'www-webdav-dasl@w3.org' > > Subject: is-collection - isdefined > > > > > > Hi, > > > > just a very minor detail.
