See, and this exactly is the problem.

You CAN'T append the element name to the namespace URI reference to create a
new URI -- at least not in the general case.

Thus my proposal to

- clarify the section (and the examples)
- add something better for the case where the server supports PROPFIND
anyway (a la deltaV).
