Dr. Ackermann, After a significant hiatus, there is now significant renewed interest in bringing the DASL specification to completion. Lisa Dusseault has volunteered to be the editor of the DASL protocol specification, and is currently working on a new specification. That said, while it is possible that we can complete this specification within six months, at present it seems fairly optimistic that we will have an RFC number within 6 months. So, while work is underway, and there is a commitment within the community to complete this specification, it will likely not be complete in six months. If you would like to see it completed sooner, then I encourage you to actively work on this specification. - Jim > I would like to ask, whether we can expect, that your internet draft > will be released as official RFC within the next six month. > Are there any products (server and clients) which will implement the > access control protocol extension soon? > > Mit freundlichen Grüßen / Best regards > > Dr. Helmut Ackermann
