Validator Seems Mistaken

Dear sir/ma'am,

I believe your HTML validator was mistaken when it checked my HTML code. It states:

Error:Nopelement in scope but apend tag seen.

From line24, column5; to line24, column8

</ul>↩ </p>↩<div

It states it detects a p-end tag, but not an initial p-tag; it is however clearly present. The code is very small and has only one instance of <p></p>, please see screenshot below or about.htm attached with this email. On the screenshot you can clearly see that on line 16 the initial p-tag opens just below the h1-element. Just as the validator states, it is closed at line 24.
