Hello W3.

I'm not very experienced with HTML and CSS but for budget reasons I must do it myself for now. While attempting to resolve a text alignment issue with my HTML page in an outline format, I planned to have 2 spaces after the alpha-numerical subdivisions before the text begins. To illustrate what I planned, I will use "<- 2 ->" to indicate where I want 2 blank spaces to exist in the example below.

I.<- 2 ->The Opening Section of the Outline starts here with Roman Numeral I.
            A.<- 2 ->Here is the first subdivision of the outline discussing how indents are helpful to the visual organization of the outline.
                        1.<- 2 ->And here, of course is the first subdivision under subdivision A.
                        2. <- 2 ->And here is the second subdivision under A.
            B.<- 2 ->And now here we begin the second subdivision under roman numeral I., etc.

I have discovered I cannot use &nbsp; inside <H> tags. At least I am unable to get it to work. In searching for answers, I came across this link below, and thought I'd try your validator to see if I could learn why I cannot use &nbsp; inside <H> tags.

https://stackoverflow.com/questions/5895082/can-a-small-tag-be-inside-an-html5-heading-i-e-h1-h2-h3-etc

The link above took me to your validator. When I entered my code to validate, I obtained an answer that didn't make sense. Of course, I don't know if specific references to style sheet messes it up. As I make more attempts to use this, I will make the code more generic and try adding style into the <Head> and such if needed. So I'm either wasting my time reporting an error in my understanding, or possibly a bug, as it reports the <p> tag that opens in your validator as missing. But it does not flag my use of &nbsp; inside <H2>. Below is a screen grab of your validator with my first attempt at use. I will play around more to see what I can learn, but your advice will save a lot of meandering.
