What ?!  Please see https://html.spec.whatwg.org/dev/dom.html#global-attributes<The%20class,%20id,
%20%20%20%20%20%20and%20slot%20attributes%20may%20be%20specified%20on%20all%20HTML%20elements.>, which clearly says "The class, id, and slot attributes may be specified on all HTML elements".
