Re: page validation problem

The validator now gives a rather different report, with error messages
caused by an extraneous quotation mark (") in a <meta> tag.

The messages described on your email were caused by malformed data at the
character level, perhaps caused by utf-8 data inside a windows-1252 file or
vice versa. That original problem cannot be analyzed without access to the
original file.
