When checking a document for validation on form inputs I got the following out of date warning message: The date input type is so far supported properly only by Opera. Please be sure to test your page in Opera. And the mark-up used below to get this message: <input type="date" name="date" id="date" /*>* The date type also works in Webkit browsers too now not just Opera.
